How to use AI Inbox: Screenshot Actions

Use the app when a screenshot, receipt, renewal note, idea, or pasted link has useful information you want to turn into something actionable.

1. Import screenshots or paste text

Import screenshots from the Capture tab by choosing screenshots/photos from your library. The app imports only the images you select.

You can also paste text or a link into the text field and tap Save pasted text.

2. Run OCR

Run OCR for image captures to read visible text on device. Pasted text is already ready for extraction.

3. Process pending captures

Process pending to create suggested cards from selected OCR or pasted text. AI extraction runs only after you tap the processing button. Leave Settings → AI backend blank to use local fallback, or enter your own compatible HTTPS backend URL.

4. Review cards

Review cards before saving them. Confirm useful cards, edit the details, or archive cards that do not matter.

5. Schedule reminders

Schedule reminders from confirmed reminder cards. iOS may ask for notification permission before reminders can appear.

6. Search your library

Search your library for confirmed cards, tags, links, amounts, dates, and summaries. Use Library for reference and Today for dated tasks or reminders.

7. AI Inbox Pro

AI Inbox Pro includes 1000 hosted AI credits per month. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Local fallback processing and user-provided BYO backend processing remain free and do not consume hosted credits. Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat, and captures are not sent to RevenueCat.

8. Archive or delete

Archive or delete items you no longer need. Archiving keeps the card out of active views; deleting app data follows standard iOS app-data behavior.
